We are doing an update blog due to our forgetful minds leaving behind two camera cords in DC/Alexandria. We are unable to post pictures until we get the cords in the mail in Texas–so this will have to suffice until then. 🙂
We have since soothed our sore bodies in the hot springs of Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas, experienced the nightlife of Nashville, Tennessee with Kaylee, seen the monstrous caves of Mammoth Caves National Park in Kentucky, gazed over the majestic rolling mountains of Great Smokey Mountains National Park in TN/NC, scrambled up Old Rag at Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, done the DC thing with Chris and Madison, hung out with our cousins in the Atlantic Ocean, trotted through the swamps of Congaree
National Park in South Carolina, and we are now currently driving to Destin, Florida to have a beach day in the Gulf of Mexico.
Things to come: a night in New Orleans, hanging with Emily and Dylan in San Antonio, seeing Big Bend National Park, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, visit Aunt Kathy, visit Kevin, do Saguaro National Park, Petrified Forest National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, and finally end it all in Orange County with Uncle Jeff.
From the roads of Alabama, over and out.
Pray the Lord blesses those who have open their doors for us.
Pray for a little girl named Paige, who is sick/recovering up at OHSU, and for her family to continue putting their trust in the Lord.
Pray for sunshine at the beach in Destin, Florida.
Praise the Lord for for how He has blessed us and kept the safe so far.–And pray that our eyes are open and our ears are listening for what He’s continuing to do on our trip!
