Wiki Triip | Find it Here
WikiTriip has saved us more than once. It basically Wikipedia but for the travel world! It’s all user input, so most the stuff is relevant and up to date with great advice from other travelers.
WhatsApp | Find it here
For us state folk, WhatsApp isn’t that common, but in literally every single other country we’ve traveled to, WhatsApp is the go-to for communication! It uses internet for texting, so there’s not need to worry about phone plans from country to country, and it’s super easy to use, just like texting or calling from home.
Maps.me | Find it Here
This is probably our favorite free travel app. By simply downloading the map app, and then downloading the country or region you’re traveling to, you’ll be able to access a map without internet.
It’s great for navigating through cities via foot and bike, and even works well in the car too! Our favorite bit of the whole app though is the ability to pin places to save for later!
